Dr Nathalie Bonafé

Founder and CEO

Dr Bonafé earned her MS and PhD in “Biology and Health” from Montpellier University School of Medicine, in the South of France. She spent the first part of her career in biomedical research that included a postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health, and several research positions at the Yale University Medical School and in the biotech industry. Today Nathalie supports women during difficult transitions that happen around midlife and in the second half of life. Her support is holistic, science-based, but non-medical. We are talking not only about support during the Menopause years which are crucial years for aging well and empowered, but also support during intense losses or periods of grief, including during a serious illness like a cancer treatment, or when a person or a loved one is dying. Sometimes, these transitions happen concomitantly, and people need a professional who can accompany them safely through it, without judgement or an agenda. That’s the role of a Doula. In a style that is soft but strong, Nathalie offers customized, evidence-based education, coaching, and holistic support, always advocating for personal choices and autonomy, while exploring meaning, courage and joy.
